WHY TEXAS FEELS LIKE HOME. PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN. PROUD TO CALL TEXAS HOME.

WE MADE THE MOVE, TOO.

In 2021, my wife and I packed up our family and moved our three boys, then ages 7, 9, and 17, from Oregon to Texas. We didn't have family here. We didn't have a network of friends waiting for us.

We didn't know anyone.

So while our move didn't start in California, I understand what it's like to leave the West Coast, start over in Texas, and build a new life from scratch.

What we did know was what we'd heard about Texas:

  • welcoming communities

  • opportunity

  • freedom

  • A place where we could put down roots and build something special.

We took the leap.

Texas welcomed our family with open arms, and it quickly became home.

Looking back, there's really only one thing I would have changed...

We should've gotten here sooner.

That’s a big part of why I created Fresh Start Texas™.  I’ve been on the other side of this decision. I know what it’s like to research communities, weigh the pros and cons, pack up a family, leave what’s familiar, and start over somewhere new.

If you're considering Texas, you don't have to figure it all out alone.
