OUR TEXAS STORY

WE MADE THE MOVE, TOO

In 2021, my wife and I packed up our family and moved our three boys, then ages 7, 9, and 17, from Oregon to Texas.

We didn't have family here. We didn't have friends waiting for us. We didn't know anyone.

What we did have was a belief that Texas could offer our family something different:

  • more opportunity

  • more room to grow

  • a strong sense of community

  • and a place to put down roots.

So we took the leap.

Texas welcomed our family with open arms, and it quickly became home.

Looking back, there's really only one thing I would have changed...

WE SHOULD'VE GOTTEN HERE SOONER.

That's a big part of why I created Fresh Start Texas™.

I've been on the other side of this decision. I know what it's like to research communities, weigh the pros and cons, pack up a family, leave what's familiar, and start over somewhere new.

If you're considering Texas, you don't have to figure it all out alone.
